batteries with moon mode

I have Arc LS clone that is regulated light (it has 200mA/400mA switch). Running it at 200 mA I have observed that when I put Surefire battery in it the light enters moon mode (it has no hardware moon mode at all). When I put Duracell or Streamlight battery in it there is no moon mode and the light turns off as the battery is depleted.
