battery comparison for hearing aid

My mother wears a hearing aid that takes 312 size zinc air batteries. She has been using Sonus batteries which I suspect are repackaged batteries from one of the main manufacturers. I'm trying to source a better price (and possibly a better battery for Mom). I hope this thread is ok as it does not deal with flashlight batteries.

Two questions:

1) does anyone know what manufacturer makes the sonus batteries?
2) is anyone aware of a comparison/test of the 312 batteries made by different manufacturers?

In case anyone else has the same question in the future I was able to find a bit of information (informal testing) for some hearing aid batteries at the "hearing aid forums" under the subtitle "discussion on hearing aid batteries". Unfortunately the tests I found were nowhere near as comprehensive as the ones on this forum but they certainly help.
