Battery Life for Streamlight TwinTask

The Streamlight site quotes the following battery life for the TT 2L:
Up to 2.5 hours (xenon)
Up to 28 hours (3 LEDs)

Do you think this means that after 2.5 hours of incandescent use, the battery is completely dead, and unable to power the LEDs at all? Is the implication that these numbers are proportionally interchangeable. For example, if you used the incandescent mode for 1.25 hours, would you have 14 hours of LED life left?

Any thoughts?

I think when the Xenon quits lighting, you will still have juice to run the LEDs. How long ? Don't know, but I'd bet hours.

The second scenerio of 1 1/2 hrs. Xenon use, I'd expect you would have much more than 14 hrs. LED use.

I've been running my (2) 1Ls, and the 2L for months now, Still waiting for them to kill the battery. Hasn't happened.

Barry, I found a run time test on Quickbeams site for the XenErgy Al-606, a Nuwai version ( same manufacturer ) of the 2L Streamlight.

The 3 LED run time should be the same as the SL.

The Xenon SL version uses a LOWER wattage bulb, so the run time would be longer than this light.
