Battery Lifespan

What do yall do to keep the batteries from eroding in the flashlights that aren't being used? Thanks

You'll find that most folks on this forum use either Lithium primaries, LiIon rechargeables or NiMH batteries. Unlike alkalines, these batteries have a very low incidence of leaking and damaging a flashlight. That said, I usually only keep 5-10 flashlight's "loaded" at a time.

If you must use alkaline, check them at least monthly or weekly for leakage, make sure they are matched (cells are all from the same pack) and replace them when they go dead!
