Apparently a standard soap box can hold about 10 AAA and 10 AA batteries. At a cost of only $1 it might be a battery storage solution for those on a budget. For me it's more about keeping everything in one place and space saving. Used batteries can be placed in the same box after being identified as such with a piece of tape. Now there is another reason to carry duct tape.
