Hi,
I purchased a pair of Canon 15x50 Image Stabilized binoculars. They are pretty amazing when they are working properly. They use 2 AA batteries. They are very battery sensitive and the problem with them is they come in and out of focus at certain times. The problem is greatly reduced when I use rechargeables and the batteries have run down their charge for a little while...like 10 or 20 minutes of use. Then the binos work great.
I'm not a technical guy at all. Is there some kind of meter that I could test the batteries with when the binos are running well. I'd like to know what to feed the binos. If I can find out what they like then I'll avoid some frustration with the blury images.
I don't want spend a ton...maybe $40 or less. (Less is better).
