BatteryStation L91 \"clone\"

I see that BatteryStation is listing an L91 equivalent as being available soon. I also see that someone with the Batterystation handle posts here. Could you tell us more about these batteries? Specifically, since Energizer seems to control the patents on 1.5V lithium cells what is the construction of these new cells. What capacity and discharge characteristics will they have?

I think it's likely that they're exactly the same cells under a different label. I believe L91 cells have always been made by Fuji. They say Made in Japan on them. Maybe some exclusive marketing agreement expired or something.
