I have this Sony charger- it has a "refresh" setting. My question- how long does it take to refresh AA,s?

It will vary, if you have dead cells and are trying to bring them back it could be a week if you select something like the 200 setting on the LaCrosse BC 700 which is a very slow charge/discharge rate. But usually a couple days if they are cells that have been used in the last year or so and are not completely flat.

I am only familiar with the LaCrosse BC 700 when it comes to refreshing cells.

That Sony charger for a full set of AAs will be a day or possibly two depending on the capacity of the rechargeable AA cells. Keep in mind that ALL cells have to reach <1 volt before charging starts. That skews your perception of how long it is taking.
