I did an observation test on the beam colour for my 6P. My 6P beam took about 25 mins (continueous) to turn yellowish from a brand new CR123A. Doea all P60 LA give only about 20 odd minutes of "white" light?

HECK NO! My G2 with the P60 gives about 50 minutes of GOOD light. I don't see a drop in light quality until about the 51st minute.

Are you sure it isnt the P61? It last about 20 minutes on two good batteries.( 120 Lumens )

Hi cornkid,

It is a P60 I am sure, it give very good flood for 40-50mins as you mentioned but the beam starts to turn "orangie" after 20-30 mins of continuous use. I am not sure if this is normal though. Nonetheless I like the P60 LA.

My P60 lamps turn to orangish in about 20 minutes. The light output is still good at this point, but the tint is noticably more amber to orangish. They give me about 45 minutes of reasonable output before completely tanking.
