Being Over Driven too Much

I hope this is the appropriate sub-forum.



I bought two christmas led decorations. Both run off of one two C cell battery pack. These LEDs are not on constantly, they operated by fading in and fading out over a three second period. I have a three volt 1000ma AC to DC power supply with four outputs. That's what I'm using run these led decorations. My question is am I over driving them too much ?
