Does anyone knowe of a good secure but quick release type of mount to put an E2E with KL1 head onto bike handle bars to use as a front lamp?

I have a single whire LED lamp on there at the moment which covers me for the legal aspects but can't see **** with it.

I dont see the point in spending money on a powerfull front lamp when I could use an existing torch with a suitable bracket.

I have tried a search but could not find anything.
 
I've had good luck using 2" - 5" long pieces of different diameter PVC water pipe as holders. Example: A 5" piece of schd. 40 with a 1.25" wide slice removed length wise makes a perfect slip fit for a Blaster size light. The only draw back is the holder itself is not readly removable. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
The Two Fish products are stand-out performers! I have one of just about everything they make for attaching one tube to another, and they're fantastic. I use one for a BB400 minimag, and another for an L4. I've got high beam and low beam this way, and I love it!
 
The Nite Ize is junk. Broke the second time I used it. The two fish is great for a light weight flashlight like the E2e. Heaver flashlights jiggle around too much though. This is what I use as a backup to my rechargable system.

Why yes, it is a Rambouillet, and its awesome. A very nice bicycle. I'm surprised anybody recognized it. If you want more info PM me offlist though.

So we don't go off topic the other light is a Niterider digital w NiMh battery pack. Which i like very much. I have an old Night sun dual system which is brighter, But I end up using the single more often. It easily puts out enough light for all but the most intense off road riding. Plus its regulated and Pulse width modulated to give 3+1 light level outputs.
If I'm offroading I use a 15W digital on my bars and a 10w digital on my head. If I'm on the road I use just the bar and maybe a Aurora LED on the helmet. Which adds some visibility and is good for repairs.

Course now there's a HID system with LiIon batteries out. But its something like $500 bucks, yikes!

And the little light on the back seatstay there is a "Red Alert". It doesn't use batteries it uses the inductance from a magnet mounted to the spokes to charge up a capaciter as it passes the unit which then causes the light to blink. It will keep on blinking for a while even after you stop.
 
Also there is a little greenish Yellow LED thing that lights up the bike computer. It think its made by sigma sports. Uses one 2032 Li coin battery.

I have just recieved a nite-ize rubber thingie today so will try that out but the two fish stuff look excellent
 
Bring a backup for the nite-ize. Like electrical tape or something. It sucks having to ride 10 miles with the flashlight in your mouth. When my Nite Ize broke I improvised with a broccoli rubber band. Which incidentally lasted twice as long as the Nit-ize.
