Anyone else think the relatively small size and rechareabilty would make a good flashlight mod? Was looking at the tool line-up in Walmart (not that I'm a big B&D fan) and the price of the battery packs seemed relatively cheap for LiIon. They did have a crappy LED flashlight, but I wasn't interested in it. Was just thinking the batt pack seems a nice size to where it might be a good matchup for flashlights.

Are you sure those are li ion batteries. I thought they were ni cads ?

They've got them at Lowe's too and they say they are Li-ion. The battery by itself was about $17. Charger sold separately but I don't remember how much. My Lowe's, the only one in a city of about 40,000 people, didn't have SureFires though.
