Hi,
last days i spend some time with lenses and a solarforce L2M 18350er host. first i used the ahorton lens. the results where good 50klux, but not perfect. after ordering some high quality lenses from a local dealer i played with these. now i use a planoconvex lens as precolli and a condesor lens as mainlens. the spot is now much bigger and give me 65.000 lux as result.
the complete setup:
- solarforce L2M 18350 short host
- cree xp-e² dedomed and soldered on a sinkpad
- stock driver that pull out 1.5 amps to the led
- aw imr 18500 - 1100ma/h
- 13mm planconvex precollamination lens
- 27mm condensor lens
now the interesting part, the pictures:
Some Beamshots that show what i see with my eyes. these are reallity beamshots not commercial shots for sale! Distance to the tower 410 meter / 1344 feets:
70mm:
200mm:
30mm:
thanks for looking, markus
