black finished arc aaa

curious about the black fininshed aaa on the closeout list. Is it a premium or regular led? Any pictures?

It is regular LED. It is appealing, isn't it? I'm pretty sure it's type III HA, but perhaps someone else can chime in on that. I think there was a thread called "The Arc Rainbow" which had a collection of all the different colored arcs which may have had a black one--not sure, but you could do a search for it.

Thanks for the pics johng. If it is a "regular" led, then its more expensive than the green finished "regular" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Was Hoping that it was a premium that was discounted because of the color. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You're welcome.

The standards were all black until recently. They cost more now because they are rare - for the color and the labeling.
Especially hard to find in new condition.
