Is this for real? Was there ever a blue 6P? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
If so, were many made?

I like this part of the description: "I bought this one for my wife a couple years ago – and let’s just say the reaction was less enthusiastic than I had hoped. If you’re shopping for something for you wife, let me suggest looking under eBay’s extensive Jewelry section, rather than Flashlights (marital advice free-of-charge and worth every penny!)." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Yep, I had two NIB - sold them both...I think there's a company called "Stagecraft" that sells blue & purple ones...

I have a pic of about 50 different colored 6Ps sisde by side. Will have to search for it. Blue, green, red, pink, white, etc....

Yes, there have been several different coloured SureFire 6P's over the years.

FC, that photo was of PK's samples and does not reflect actual production items released.

I know. Still very cool pic. Do you have it handy?

But blue, r.w.b, purple did make it to the production.

Wow, I'd like to get my hands on one myself. But the one I've been trying to get an answer on is the custom SF Z2 Combatlight coated with an OD Armor-Tuff finish by Wilson Combat. This is the same Armor-Tuff coating used for their custom firearms (extremely durable coat, a lot better than a parkerized finish). I've emailed them asking if they'll offer that option in their product catalog, but no answer yet. The pic I'm referring to is shown on page 60 of their 2003 catalog.

Anyone else ever inquire about this?

Here is an OD one

Don't know how to tell. I have Blue, Black, GM, OD. I was looking for a USA 6P but I keep missing the sporatic sales /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I don't think I'll be getting the purple one, kind of looks uhm....er...uh...you know..uh.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Here is an OD one

Holy cow, M6... I'm drooling over here - /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif
Is that an Armor-Tuff coat on there? It looks fairly close to the texture that it should be.

Y'know, Chamenos, I've been told that Armor-Tuff has a better wear-life over hard anodizing... but perhaps someone else can correct me on that. I like the TypeIII HA finish on my M2, but in reality, I just like the "coolness" factor of having Armor-Tuff on a SF... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: Here is an OD one

SFM6: hehe yea i know /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Pie: i agree...plus if armour-tuff has more consistant colours, i would choose it over hard anodizing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
