Both EDC's fail around the same time

both my ZL sc51 and my LD01 started flickering around the same time. the ZL seems to be ok now for the most part but the LD01 has gone comletely dead. ive had the ZL for a little over a year an the fenix for less then a year with the fenix being hardly used if that. the ZL gets moderate daily usage. i can deal with the ZL acting up but the LD01 is on my key chain an serves as a back up emergancy light so i cant have any issues what so ever.

any ideas on a quick fix here or should i just dump the LD01 an get a replacement? (used to have the E01 an it never failed me)

I hope you didn't do what I did when I thought my LOD-CE was acting up and working intermittently, I forgot to check the battery, I eventually tried a different battery and realized that the old lithium battery had been in it for years and was totally drained, with little spurts of juice showing up after being left alone.

It was almost like forgetting to check if a non functioning device is plugged in.

I would let Fenix fix it for you.

Could try putting some deoxit on electrical contacts.
