Hi why don't you try the hugsby P2 cree Q5 1*aa/1*14500.

It's a pure thrower. 1 Mode, you don't need all those strobe mode etc.10.6cm by 2.7cm. only $15. You don't have that much to lose. And if you lose it you can buy another one for $15. If you buy a $60 light and lose it, you'll have to fork out another $60.

but if you drop it and it stops working, you'd probably think "shoulda just spent that $60 on a tougher light", no offence meant but i have owned a variety of DX lights and have compared them to better made lights. drop test from arm's length, Ultrafire C3 vs Jet I. 3 drops. the C3 survived but will now go off without notice, flickers a lot. Jet I no issue. Also read HERE for another destruction test on my Nitecore EX10.

Before the bezel thing gets too crazy. Breaking the skin = bad. It's a great way to catch blood borne diseases. A lot of the people who have to be manually removed from a bar are not the type you'd want to spend a Saturday night with.

Take a look at eagletac lights, lifetime warranty. i have the eagletac p10A has forward clicky, as i think most of them do

Hi there and :welcome:

Jetbeam Jet III Military was what i thought of, 2 modes, with the head tightened its on max, loosen it to go into the 2nd mode which is fully customisable, so you could have it on max, then program the 2nd mode for fast strobe or low mode for bag checks etc, entirely your call. The light is pretty darn tough too.

You can also get a low profile crenulated bezel for the Jet III.

Don't forget to use CPFJET discount code when checking out.

+1 :D the standard stainless smooth bezel on the Jet III M wont get you into legal trouble when it comes down to it

+1 :grin2:

I've had mine for some time (replaced Surefire 6P) and couldn't be happier with it, the deep reflector provides a nice tightly focused beam profile (though there is some spill naturally), it's user configurable second mode is what swayed me along with the 18650 compatibility it's now my primary light.

Highly recommended!
