Yes, cy, I completely agree. I am amazed at the fact that you had the means of distributing flashlights to the whole troop. It really sounds like a nice idea. If I am lucky enough, I might do the same and see what the effects are. Thanks a lot!

On the group buy, I did have to pay for most of the ultra G's up front. I've already got two parents converted to Led's a few months back by selling them a ultra G at my cost.

On the countycomm $1 led light (20/$20) orders for $50+ free shipping.

I thought about giving them away, but decided to charge each scout $1 for the light. My reasoning I needed to charge each scout to give some type of incentive to apreciate the light. Even though they only cost a $1, they are nice lights. they have a slide switch and 2X Cr16 batteries.

As I handed them out, if the scout didn't have the $1, I told them they owe me a $1. As it ended up I didn't have enought light for all the scouts, as the dads snapped up a lot of the lights.

I figured it was more important to have the dads get the lights. Once they figure out how good led lights are. The scouts will get led lights.

It must be working, more parents are wanting in on the group buys on ultra G's.

Flashlights4less, I received the flashlight in excellent condition. Thank you very much; it will remain in my memory as my very first SureFire. Thank You.

Seeker,
Glad you liked the light. A little note, the least expensive most reliable battery for that is the surefire cr123. I recommend getting a dozen to keep around. It's only 15 bucks and most surefire dealers should be carrying them for that price.
By the way. I just signed my 6 yr old up for tiger cubs this week. We've got a fishing trip next weekend. I can't wait! Take care.

Thank you, Mr. Andy. I forgot to notify the other members that after browsing the marvels of your website and being dazzled by the diversity of lights, I selected the flashlight you recommended me, the SureFire G2, as my prize that you so generously gave to me.

My father purchased batteries directly from SureFire, and he also provided me with a SureFire holster for the G2. He also stated that he is willing to lend me a P61 lamp, for those moments when it will be necessary to scare the living daylights out of the night.

Also, a warm congratulations to your 6-year-old son. I wish you and him the best of luck in your ventures in scouting together and that many fruitful escapades and lasting memories will come from it. Keep in touch and let me know how he's doing!

Once again, thank you, Mr. Andy. And thank you all at CandlePowerForums for the wonderful welcome and generosity. I will hope to be making another full-length posting quite soon, so look for me in these upcoming days!

'Khazâd ai-mênu!'

Best wishes to all.

Then I showed her the Ppwter minimag with a Lux III and madmax+ with two stage kroll switch and NX05 optic that I put together for her...

The girls were amazed that the same light would drop to low beam that was bright enough to walk around without disturbing others.

1. Two stage Kroll on a MM+? Not the Firefly, fully compatible with Mini-Mag? Where can I get one?

2. Scouting and flashlights - And that's the news from "Lake Darkbegone" where all the lights are strong, the beams good looking, and the runtimes above average. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
