Help Support Candle Power:

Hmmm, half the cycles of a Li-Ion phone battery, isn't all that great. I have an LG flip phone and bought two spare LG OEM batteries off of Ebay for it, just to have.

I think I paid $8 each, for them shipped, so not a lot. Sulphur/NT cells will drop the costs, but it doesn't seem to be breaking any new ground technologically speaking.

Twice the energy density and half the charge cycles evens out, so no gain or loss. Lower cost is a gain for consumers. I'd be interested in a comparison of the environmental impacts of production, as well learning if the sulfur based batteries are safer than traditional Lithium ion cells.
