Burnt LED

I have a fenix L2d that has a brown spot in the middle of the emitter, I must have left it running too long on turbo.

Is it possible to buy a replacement head for these?

Possibly, yes, although they are out of production now. I would contact the vendor you bought it from. They might throw you a bone and replace it for you ( I had an L2T that did the same thing and 4sevens replaced the whole head) or else at the very least they may have some spare heads laying around that they could sell you. Or maybe put a WTB ad in the MP and see if anyone else has one. Hope you can find one around. :thumbsup:

This same thing just happened to my L2T, it's fortunately under warranty still, so I'm sending it in to 4Sevens on monday. Where did you get yours and how long ago?

I got mine from ledtorches in australia. Its probably 2 years old. I'll give them a call tomorrow.
