sorry if this has been covered numerous times but how can the junction temp be calculated for a well documented led mounted to mcpcb.
can the junction temp be calculated from the temp of the soldering point of the mcpcb, drive current thermal resistance ect?
a formula or link to the formula would be greatly appreciated.
ive looked at the thermal management page on cree's site and although they mention that leds are often mounted to mcpcb i couldnt quite find out how to calculate
