The trick is to use my "solar engine" circuit. Instead of a motor, connect my circuit's output to the 220 ohm or so bias resistor on the photoflash circuit board. Connect the photoflash battery wires accross the 4700uF capacitor. When the Solar-Engine circuit fires, the photoflash transistor kicks into oscillation and draws upon the 4700uF capacitor.
