Calling All EMT\'s Out There

What's in your EMT kit that you use for work? What would you add or modify in that list if you had to carry one for personal use?

Usually all the stuff I use comes off the rig.

Here are some things I regularly carry on me:
Benchmade Rescue Hook
Benchmade Minigrip
Littmann Master Classic II
2 Pens
Notepad
Couple pairs of nitrile gloves
Roll of tape
EMT shears
Surefire L4
Disposible Penlight
Tigerlight (On a belt loop for night MVA's mostly)

I have a "First on Scene" kit that I keep in my vehicle that has pretty much all the basics:
Crevats
Splints
Lots of 4x4's & Roll gauze
Ice/Hot Packs
Bandages of all sorts
CPR Mask
BVM
Nasal & Oral Airways
BP Cuff
EMT Shears
Tweezers
Pens and Markers
Notepad
Pen light
N95 mask
Safety Glasses
Many Nitril Gloves

Lots more stuff, but that's all that comes to the top of my head. I can make a complete list if you want.

I'd be interested in seeing your complete kit too. Interest is purely personal. I like being prepared as I'm always taking out a troop of boy scouts. I've had to pull out my first aid kit more than once.

I’m putting together two kits for personal use; I’ve already put together the first one for minor scrapes and bruises that I keep in the car. The second one, that I’m planning on carrying while hiking, is for serious injuries.

As I have noticed in my own pictures, we also carry anti-skid, halli-bar, axe, tnt tool, booster cables???, mysterious orange box.

I, too, am trying to put together a kit for personal use. The highway I take to and from work, as well as to and from the mall, suffers several pile-ups every day. I'd like to be able to render assistance should I be called upon to do so.

This may be urban legend, but I've read stories where would-be good samaritans -- rescue knives deployed for use -- approached accident victims trapped in their cars by their seat belts, only to be fought off because the frantic victims thought they were being attacked or robbed.

I have also read that someone was arrested with an assisted-opening rescue knife -- a Camillus Lev-R-Loc. The arresting officer claimed it was a "switch-blade" or "gravity knive" or something. I don't know any particulars. That one may well be urban legend.

So I'm looking for a folding rescue tool that looks non-threatening. One that is also non-automatic. Two-handed is just fine. Any suggestions?
