Can I mail a BETA light?

I've had a Beta light for a while and I was thinking of trading/ selling it. If I do Sell/trade it can I then mail it? FedEX/ UPS ? Thanks in advance.

I feel a little stupid for asking, but what is a BETA light? If I had to guess I would say it has to do with Beta radiation, and hence would be some type of Traser (sp?) product. Thanks for any info.
