Interested in seeing if this idea is feasible. Would like to toggle between two sets of LED's with a single driver.

Set "A" would be a single LED for a tight spot (throw).

Set "B" would be either a single LED or a series of LED's for a wide beam (flood).

Not really interested in multi-modes (Low/Mid/high), just toggling between the two sets with a McClicky switch.

Any comments?.
 
The driver part is possible. You may have to construct your own, I'm not sure if there are any off-the-shelf solutions.
 
Another desired function is to turn on both sets on the third click of the switch, so:
-1st click (spot)
-2nd click (flood)
-3rd click (spot+fllood)
 
There are lots of ways to do this, but using a McClicky limits you a lot. You're probably looking at a custom switch board + COTS driver, or custom driver (which isn't much more trouble, given you want single mode).
 
You could also use RGB 7135 driver ;) and piggyback some extra 7135s when needed for higher output.
 
If you are OK with a linear driver (i.e. 3-4.2V input voltage driving XM-Ls etc.), then a NANJG105C master/slave combination might work; the master has a customized firmware and controls it's own board as well as the slave (without MCU). I could write such a firmware if you don't find another solution.

Would each LED have its own reflector?

If so, you'd want a deeper bowl for the throw oriented one, and shallower ones for the floody beam aspects.

That might mean a single large deep reflector for the throw LED, and, perhaps either a mult-LED type bowl for the flood, or, ring of flood reflectors, or an MTG2 Mule, or whatever, etc.

The driving requirements of these separately is then going to dictate the options.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, the idea was to have a single deep reflector (throw) with a set of multiple shallow reflectors (flood).
