I wonder how difficult it would be? I have read articles about kids making apps and posting them on iTunes

What would it do? You can already browse the forums with the web browser.

Just format it better for the iPhone, similar to how eBay and craigslist apps work. It wouldn't need to do anything more than that. Try browsing cpf on a 3inch screen, it gets to be a pain

but not only would it benifit that way but it would also be a good way to spread the light umongst apple techno crowd

There MIGHT be something... Tapatalk? ... but I'll have to install some add-on to CPF for it to work... and I don't have an iPhone... and IF this happens, it's not gonna happen tomorrow...

I volunteer myself as a beta tester please!

There's got to be a generic iphone app that can be modified for viewing vb boards online. if not, I see a good money-making opportunity for my friend the mobile app designer :p

It would be a piece of cake to reformat the site for the iPhone. All you need is to write an iPhone.css stylesheet file, which requires no extra bandwidth and puts no extra load on the server, nor opens up new vulnerabilities.

However, I find CPF easy enough to navigate without a mobile version.

That is another option... and I'm looking for a "skin"...

Sorry Craig... I thought I had something but I didn't. I found out I can test skins out with my Palm Centro. Back to the drawing board... :sigh:
