Though SureFire introduced a batch of new prototypes for 2009, I just bought a nice L5 with KL5 on USN cove. (Unfortunately I missed a 3P from the same seller.)
I already have a M2 upgraded with a KL5A and a Z48 tailcap, which is my perfect backup light: it is always in my bag and ready-service with new cells. Whenever I need cells for another flashlight I take them out of this light and replace them with fresh ones. (Another reason I do not believe in single-cell backup llights.)
In the end I will have a M2 with KL5/P60 in a V72 holster and the L5 with KL5A and Z48.
So, what would you recommend next? The SureFire M3L looks very interesting...
