Catapult V3 Setup??

Which battery setup do you use? Is there a difference in brightness from 4 cr123 to 2 18650's Thanks for your help

Great light. I believe the output is exactly the same with those two battery configurations. You may, however, get the same brightness with two RCR123s. Regardless, I prefer going the dual 18650 route for the extra runtime and because the light is still pretty big even without the extender.

Thanks for your replies. It sure seems brighter on 4 cr123 than 2 18650. I'm confused can you run 4 RCR123 Rechargeable's?

Only if you want the light to go :poof:

The working voltage range for the V3 is 4.5v -12v. 4 rcr123 would be 16.8v which is way above the max operating voltage of the light.
