Cateye RC30 mod's

Hi all, somebody from a retrobike forum pointed me in the direction of this forum, so i thought I'd give it a try. I'm thinking of modding my cateye RC30's although I am a complete noob to it all. First of all I'm just curious to if anybody has already done so and what has been done so far from mild to extreme?.
