I have an LG VX4400B and my battery took a dump on me last week /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I've looked online for new batteries and see about 4 different types ranging from 900mAh to 1400mAh.

My question is, what does mAh stand for/mean? I want to get the slimline battery so the 1400mAh model is out of the question.....

It's miliamps hour. It's a way to rate batteries for capacity. The higher teh rating, the larger its capacity.
1400mAh basically means it's been tested to sustain 1.4A for one hour. Note that the testing current is usually lower than that so it's just to give you an idea.
