ps. is the highest capacity they sell 2000mah?

Amazon.com has opened box specials. 8 for 8.99. I ordered a set.

Around here Kodak, Ray O Vac and Hibrio are usually on sale or in the $7.99-$9.99 range. Fry's has Eneloops for $9.99-$11.99 and the last time I was at Circuit City they were $14.99. Currently I am using all but the Eneloops and am happy with them in my camera flash unit and some flashlights.

seems there are already some diff manufacturers (at least diff imperoters here, who get other outer shells put on the cells from the original producer)

Except from eneloops, there were around 4-6 diff. "ready to use" Ni-Mhs, when I checked batts in some large consumer electronics store around here, all 4 AA packs.

If there is a HHGreg store nearby they have them for $7.99. I just bought a couple packs last week.
