I have a incan Surefire E2E that I would like to put an LED head on, but I really don't want to break the bank on it, so I'm looking for a cheap light with a led head that will screw onto the E2E body. After a few searches I found some old posts mentioning a Romisen light that would work, but the links posted didn't work so I don't know the models. Anyone know of a cheap light that will work? Also single mode would be preferred.

Lumens Factory has an LED Head for $55 but that is maybe more than you planned to spend.

I was hoping to get away around $25, hopefully. I just hate to spend almost as much as a new light on an LED. I wish a p60 would fit....

OK if you already have the E2 body then what you need is a head for it right?
Either an adapter AND a p60 head and drop-in or an E-head AND drop-in.

I have not seen anything cheaper than the Lumens Factory drop-in which I bought and that was before the Malkoff new head was on sale but it is still more I think than the Lumens Factory model?

Either way this is going to be about $60.00 unless you can turn up a used one somewhere.

I screwed around with this same challenge for a while.

Why not just sell the surefire e2e and get a p60 host. Should be able to get a well set up solarforce for that.

I already have a few Solarforces, I like the compact size of the E2E and really I'd just like to use it every now and then. I have a few solarforce heads laying around and a few P60 dropins. My only problem is that the head and adapter will be black. I may just suck it up and buy the lumen factory set up

The Oveready adapter is brass, does that match the "Look" you are going for?
The LumensFactory Head that I have is silver.
What color is your E2E?

+1 for Lumens Factory e-series head... might be slight off your anodization but pretty good bang for buck at $55 + shipping for head/module with great reflector...

Malkoff is little more but definitely tougher and premium upgrade for premium Surefire E2E at $69 + shipping...

Or you could go with SingLED custom module for $68 total and preserve your stock E2E look but still have LED...

Sorry if this sounds like advertisement but I honestly don't know about anything for around $25 except for Lumens Factory IMR bulbs line...

A Nitecore Infinity head will fit and work on an E2E with a 17670. If you can find one that is...

The E2E is grey. I actually have a Nitecore ife1 and it will thread on, but the light won't work, because there's a gap between the battery and the contact with an AW17670. I may just leave it alone, I just can't justify spending as much as a new light that's probably gonna be twice as bright on a head.
