I'm getting ready to place an order at DX and want to run it by you guys to make sure these are good choices and that I'm not missing something that might be better/make more sense... or could be found for a better deal else where...

That doesn't look a bad selection. My tips would be pay a little more and buy the upgraded RC-N3 from shiningbeam.com, and make sure you have a suitable Nokia 'phone charger laying around for the DSD charger. The charger itself I've found okay, but the power supplies don't last long. I've fried 2 already.

I've actually just been looking at the shiningbeam website for the last few minutes. I'm now considering ordering both versions of the lights I'm looking at from them. Might even just go ahead an get the AW batteries too.

If you get the rc-n3 the extension tube that comes with it is also usable with the rc-c6 to make it a 2xAA light which is pretty handy.

Also if you are doing a big order from DX here are some other flashlight and non flashlight items you might want to throw in:

Thanks! I was actually looking at those keychain flashlights.... I've got plenty of multi-tools though ...

The keychain leds are great, I've ordered maybe 50 of them and they've all worked and are super bright plus have a constant on switch which is handy. Only downside I would say is there are almost too bright. They seem to go through their included batteries very fast. For like 45 cents tho they are a steal.
