Christmas Present AAA Keyring Flashlight(s)

Hello,

I am going to buy a number of AAA keyring flashlights for Christmas Presents, (At least 6 of the same one) But I need to keep the budget low (Below £20) So far the Thrunite Ti looks the best in terms of budget and quality. Great brightness compared to others in it's price range, it's £13.95 here. Also the Fenix E05 is a contender due to it's good run time, but it costs a bit more at £17.95 and is not as bright, infact maybe a little to weak on the bright side.

The light will be used for general use, around the home/car at night, on dog walks in parks etc, for the people I'm buying them for.

I've looked at others like:

Olight i3 (It lacks run time compared to the Ti on max, yes it's not keyring but it would do)
Fenix E01 (Very weak brightness)
NexTorch K1 (Not to bad but again weak brightness compared to the Ti)
NiteCore T0 (Same as above but weaker)

I'm just wondering if there are some I'm missing that can be contenders to the Ti? Bearing in mind the lower budget, AAA only and good brightness required, but not low run time like the i3.

The Thrunite Ti is currently on sale at Thrunite's store, but i'm not sure how much shipping will be. I bought a bunch to give away as well, and they are nice.

I've just looked ,thanks for the tip. Very cheap at $10 a peace, but I need to check out the shipping cost and the return time (As they may not come before Christmas unless go international express) I'll take a look now.

Okay just worked out shipping is only $6 insured! (Cheaper option available at $3 but not insured) Quite incredible really. For 6 I'd pay around £84 over here, if I go through thrunite (Pardon the pun) It's only roughly £44 with postage.

I don't think going to beat this sale on the Ti, so it looks like the one.

My Ti's cam with dry threads, so it might be a good idea to lubricate them when you get them.

I forgot to mention that I already ordered a Ti in the UK for myself. I got it yesterday so have had 2 nights use with it. Very impressive light for the size, much brightness from such a small thing that feels very solid also.

As far as the Fenix E01 goes, the average person understands a single-AAA keychain light as one geared for runtime over brightness. By a significant degree. The Fenix's level of brightness is what they'd expect. As odd as it may seem, anything brighter might be considered too bright, by them. During a friend's wedding, I used my Inova Micro-light to provide some light for the Groom's sister so she could adjust her make-up. Didn't shine it in her eyes. Still, she shouted "Oh! Too bright!" and ran off to find a mirror. Keep in mind, I was using an Inova micro-light. Not a SureFire M6 on fresh cells.

I own an E01 and find it useful.

It's one of those things, a personal thing as to what is more suited to you. It seems the E01 has a perfectly suited home with you.

I think the low mode on the Thrunite Ti is great for close range use and has good runtime. I just bought another 10 pack of the Ti's, hopefully they'll arrive soon.

I have to put another word in for the Ti. Upon their arrival I was pleased to find that they were very attractive looking (the colors really pop! I was surprised at how close the color accuracy was to the photos I'd seen) and well packaged. Upon opening and testing each one I found them to be well-constructed with a nice white floody beam, and each came with a zip bag containing two or more extra o-rings and a miniature key ring, and the brass threads were appropriately lubed with silicone grease. I already gave three of them away (early Christmas gifts), two of the recipients being ladies might I add. All three loved them and commented on the brightness (when will I learn to tell people NOT to shine LED lights into their eyes when I present them with one?) and each promptly attached them to their bundle of keys. However, the ladies did haggle over the pink/red one, and my mother also tried to claim the pink/red one when I showed her what I had gotten (I had to order her one after she saw how bright they were... I picked up the flashlight obsession from my grandfather on her side of the family so it makes sense). I ended up telling the girl that got the copper-colored one that I was ordering a Ti for myself and would instead order her a pink one and trade it to her for the copper. She was cool with that, I just hope the copper one doesn't grow on her or I'll end up with a pink one for on my key lanyard. :D

Maybe I am just the oblivious one, but their eBay store is open to bidding (not just buy it nows), and someone scored a 10 pack for $60... Of course it's coming from China so I don't know how long the shipping would be.
