Hi, there.

It's been a while since I posted. The reason I'm dropping in is because I'd like to buy a couple of decent torches for myself and my dad. I'd really appreciate some help. My last big purchase a few years ago was a SkyRay King. Superb torch, and still my go-to workhorse for my camping trips.

My dad would like a decent quality zoomer and I would like a decent backup to my aging SkyRay King. Maybe even an upgraded. LEDs have only got better.

I don't know if you allow posting links, but there are so many fake products and junk out there on AliExpress, eBay, DX and Amazon, a direct link to bona fide products would be great. Maybe PM me I'd you have any suggestions?

Also, I'd like a link to some genuine Panasonic or equivalent batteries (18650 or the next size up, whatever these torches take). I don't want to fork out for fakes, as I'm on a budget.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, direct links are discouraged in "Recommend" type threads and forums, for reasons that are probably (or should be) obvious.

In general, obtaining genuine products is best done by purchasing direct from manufacturers or via their approved distribution channels (eg, authorized dealers)

I trust Illumn.com for genuine stuff...lights, batteries. Never a problem. Battery Junction is also solid.
