Just received the CJ 1-Watt flashlight from goldengadgets, and for under 6 bucks including shipping, I am very pleased with this light. The website claims that it is 50 lumens and has approx 3 hours of runtime on 1AA. I haven't tested the runtime yet, but I'd say the 50 lumens is pretty accurate. Compared to my LOD CE it is right in the middle of med and high. It has a very nice white color and a nice smooth beem profile with no rings. I don't think the led is a cree, its actually kinda weird and crappy looking but the light it puts out is great. The build of the light is pretty nice too. Its a little silly looking with the silver on black but with a battery in it, feels quite solid. Without a battery, the silver part feels a little cheap but the top and bottom are still good. It has O-rings which are nice. The clicky bottom is actually surprisingly expensive feeling. One negative is the threading isn't that good, but its totally serviceable. I forget which type of click you would call it but it can't momentarily go on, but once on can momentarily go off. Below are some beamshots and pictures of the light althought they didn't come out very well. The beamshots are first LOD med, second CJ1W, third LOD high.
Overall, this was a great buy, assuming it doesn't break in a week.
