CMG Reactor w/Tailcap Switch...

Not really -- I am putting together a Legend 2AA LS mod, direct drive. When done it should be the equivalent of the Reactor in light output (perhaps more, I am using a very bright and white Luxeon), except it will have the built-in Legend tailcap switch. Will meter it with both alkalines and lithiums, maybe as early as tomorrow...afternoon when I wake up.

If you're planning on using that "super-luxeon" that you got in your last batch, then you'll be VERY happy.

I used one of my select LS's in my 2AA Brinkmann mod and it performs very well, especially on lithiums.

A few luxeon mods for your entertainment. All are 3 volt direct driven except the dorcy which can be adjusted using dummy batteries or rechargables. Note the last one. Coleman 2-aa with tailcap switch.

I like the photo in the 4AAA mod. that shows how the LS/O is trimmed.

I've always been nervous about how close the electrical contact is to the aluminum plate. But I guess if you solder it and then file off the corners nice and clean then the insulating film will be fine.
