Say what you want about Coleman lights but their 2-CR2 MAX is a flamethrower! I got one from Wall-Mart today and IMHO, for it's size (as small as some 1AAA's) it is over the top in throw. I had trepidations about getting it because of the cost of CR2's but for an EDC carry where I won't be using it for long periods, the batts should last quite a while. It claims a 2 hour run time. Nice luke white beam. I compared it to an Innova 2AA and a Dorcy 1-cr123 and it blew them away plus was smaller to boot. The lens appears to be glass.(can't tell) I just wish it had a barrel clip. I have a small holster that I'm going to carry it in. It will most likely be part of my daily equipment from now on.

Yup, I love mine. Nice and small with good output. I don't use it much at all due to the cost of CR2's :broke:.

Here's a family pic (missing the 2 x 123 version, haven't found it yet):

A 14500 works well too. You only need 2 things. A little paper around the battery, a delivery confirmation slip works well. And the cell must have a nipple on it. I ran mine for an hour and it worked swell. Didn't heat up either. I like the tint as well, I have the 2 x CR2 version.
