I have a coleman table light gave from my friend and tryed to change incan. to LED.
Now you can see the module I made on the top.
White tube is defuser to flaten the light.1 w luxeon sits inside.
I hesitate to show messing backside.(yes Mcguyver is my hero /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)
The module consists of Ecan potted Downboy 400 inside and some aluminum plate I found out in my room by chance.I wanted to use Etop but could not found it in Soppe /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif.
4 rolled-out ends look silly fringe but I expect it is efective in heat-sinking and radiation.
The module littel large to fit to body,so I filed out circumference littel bit.
Original parts that holdind incan. can be moved easily and now you can put this module in smoothly.This mod is not needed to change body itself,so you can change back to incan. mode without any problem.
Light is slightly dimmer than incan. but batteries last very long with constant brightness.
