Picked up a Fenix TA 30

It is really well put together. Not as nice as a Surefire, but pretty darn good for a Chinese made light.

The action is a little gritty (when turning the selector), but hopefully that will break in.

Beam quality is very nice, and I like only having High-medium-low (as opposed to 6 intensity settings which overcomplicates things IMO). I could do without the strobe thing though... I find setting 4 (strobe) annoying.

Output on high is very good, while low and medium are respectable for what it is designed for. I kind of wish medium was cranked up a little more though.

Comparing side by side vs. my SF U2s, the Surefires definitely have nicer action and fit & finish, but the Fenix is very solid for the price.

I also like having 3 123 batteries... should improve runtime.

For $87, I think this is a very nice product.

Nice light, i own one too. In case you didnt know, you can get 2x17500s instead of 3xCR123s.

Also, in a pinch, i have used 2x14500s in mine. This is a very versatile light and it is incredibly tough too.
