Take it easy on me, this is my first attempt and I know it's not perfect, but you stand in the snow in 15F weather and try it .

This is my Modamag Collossus with 8x Sony 18650 V cells, Osram 64642 150 watt bulb (rated at 5000 lumens at 24v) and AW 3 stage driver. The first comparison shot is a 5761 in a bored Surefire M4 with 2x Sony Vs - I lost the some text in the GIF conversion somehow - then the 64642 low, med, high.

Fantastic! Now you'd better go and inspect that white paintwork on the house to make sure it's not too badly scorched, lol.

Lucky for me it has been bank owned for the past several months so I am not guilty of sun-burning the occupants

I was about to say how did the neighbors feel about that.

Had the pleasure of playing around with one of these beasts at a recent meet... is BIGGER and HEAVIER and BRIGHTER than it looks. www pics just don't do it justice its a wall of light with a center spot that really throws. The battery caddy by itself would break your foot if you dropped it.

The Colossus separates the men from the boys.

Nice job, BSBG! Next time you make the GIF's, maybe slow frames down a bit? See how you like this speed of 2sec/frame

It is a big light indeed - not for the weak :nana:

Much better timing Lux - this was my first attempt and I was going to re-save it but got distracted - thanks!
