My TTS story. Last year a few weeks before Christmas I had ordered three Arc LE's using priority US mail thinking I had plenty of time (advertised two or three days delivery)as they were designated to be Christmas gifts. After ten days or so when the lights still did not arrive, I emailed William with my problem and he assured me that he had sent them out but had ran out of LE's to replace them with. On the Friday (21st) before Christmas, he contacted me to let me know that he had finally received some LE's and that he was willing to overnight ship replacements to me on the house. I believe overnight Fed-ex is $25 or so. Knowing the problem was not his fault, I refused his generous offer stating that by that time I had made other Christmas gift arrangements. I requested that he just ship the replacements via normal arrangements (UPS this time), he complied and sure enough a few days later I received the LEs. Too late for Christmas but you can never have enough Arc LE's right? Funny thing is around the second week of January I received my original shipment of Arc LE's, about five weeks overdue in which I then returned to William. The Post Office could offer no explanation for the delay.

Bottom line. If TTS offers the light I want, I buy it from them.

Ok, finally got it today. Everyone's right, TTS rocks, and of course the ARC AAA is everything I was expecting (except, happily, I didn't quite appreciate just how small it really is!

I wasn't expecting it to come with a Duracell so I already had some Energizer Max's available. Is it my imagination or could the Energizer Max be brighter than the Duracell? I figured with the regulation it wouldn't matter as long as the battery had the minimum juice, but I could swear its just a hair brighter with the Max than the Duracell. Possible or my imagination?

BTW, this is obviously not TTS fault at all but I think I wasted the extra three or four bucks I spent on UPS 3 Day express shipping. It shipped Thursday (Thanks for promptness William) Three days right? Aha, no, see UPS doesn't count Saturday or Sunday, so my "three" day order left on the 10th and arrived on the 15th. It arrived in Michigan Friday night and sat on the truck until Monday afternoon when they sent it up to my local UPS. I have to think the $4.00 Postal Service shipping wouldn't have taken much more than five days to get it to me.

Then I had to personally visit UPS to arrange to have the package held for pickup at their office after they recieved it since their policy is that they can't hold the package until after a failed delivery attempt is made /even if the customer assures them that noone will be at the location to recieve the package/ Bit of a silly policy IMHO. Fortunately the folks at the office were extremely courteous and offered to make an exception, but still I didn't like having someone bend their rules.

In any case I'm now a very happy TTS and ARC customer.
