competition for everled?

Has any one seen a competitor to the everled?

Reliable and white.

Epieon was sorta in the same league, but they're kinda tricky to get ahold of right now. But you don't get the multi-voltage capability and stuff. .

I was refering to a competitor for the everled drop in's.

Such as the PR-3 Flange Base: Luxeon,

at: http://www.theledlight.com/ledbulbs.html

There is very little on the pr-3, especialy it's comparason
to the everled. It's about 1/3 less in price of the everled.

Any opinions?

A competitor needs to have pretty much the same features as what is it competing against. That drop-in has none. It will only work with a fixed number of cells and it has no regulation.

As of now, the everled stands alone.

And at $28.95 it is pretty much the same price, or at least within $5 or so.

I think that the EL Blaster series is tough competition
against the Everled as for the same price you can buy
a regulated Hyper-Blaster 3W [the whole torch] not just the bulb
