Could not wait any longer, I ordered a Bolt

I told myself I was going to wait till Target or someone local had the Bolts in stock so I could look at them first. I waited and waited but just could not wait any longer, so I ordered the AAA version this morning. Now the waiting begins!!

Congrats! I've got the AA version and really like it. It's bright, built tough, and has a nice switch (the momentary ON is much better than on the X1). I'm curious how bright the 2AAA version is, especially since the emitter is supposedly the same as the new X1, which didn't get too many favorable reviews around here.

Let us know how you like it (after that LONG wait... watching the mail every day, cursing the holiday in the middle of the week..... sorry).

I'm tempted by the 2AA model. I did notice that it doesn't appear to have a lanyard hole. Can anybody confirm that?

Confirmed. Looking at mine right now - no lanyard hole.

I have a 2-AA Bolt, Have been using it a lot, good light for the money.
