It may be a wasted effort, but it seems like a lot of the same questions get answered over and over again in the batteries section here. Regulars get frustrated answering the same old questions and noobs get frustrated being told to read through pages and pages of questions that contain only a few nuggets of wisdom that applies to their situation, while a lot of the information is just plain out of date, which you don't find out until the 14th page of 30 posts each.

So I stumbled on the CPF Wiki, which has been badly neglected, and started doing some updates. I had forgotten all about TTA's page of links, but I filled in some of the stuff that comes up over and over again on two pages that apply here:

So I'll throw that out there. Feel free to get a Wiki account and edit to your heart's content (or tell me I shouldn't have bothered). There could certainly be more links to appropriate threads and, while I spent a while putting together information on chargers (good and bad), I know I left a lot out and I really don't know that much about li-ion cells and chargers (though I'm getting there: I bought some DX 10440's and 14500's and the really cheap DX universal charger).
