1. Does Panasonic make Surefire CR123a's batteries?

2. Duracell, Panasonic, Energizer and Surefire CR123a's are the same batteries (in terms of construction) but with different labels?

3. Between those batteries are there any with superior perfomance or it' s just the same?

Panasonic does make Surefire batteries. The Surefire ones tend to be a little better than the other ones. Hope this helps.

Nice moniker BTW.

Yeah, look for the Panasonic sourced 1550mAh batteries made in the USA, then the 1400mAh batteries, which can be Sanyos and some other named brands, sourced from Japan, IIRC.

Rayovac, Surefire, Duracell, Panasonic, Sanyo, Streamline, BatteryStation and perhaps some others. They're all good, but you do see some deliniation between 1550s and 1400s, FWIW.

Not sure anymore but the Surefire branded cells were slightly more $$ than generics. I bought a case of 100@ CR123A cells from the Battery Station for slightly less than the Surefire branded ones. Same warranty.
