I am about to order some stuff from DX, can anyone recommend any of their cr123a rechargeable? the m60l can take up to 9v, so I was thinking a 3.6v battery. the flashlight body takes 2 cr123's.

Without knowing what flashlight body you have it's hard to say.

A lot of the protected RCR123/16340 batteries are DX are longer than CR123 cells, so they may not properly fit.

Most folks here will tell you to skip the DX cells and buy AW cells.

what is AW?

I have a cabela's 6p imitation. I needed to place the order so i ended up getting sku# 1880

Rechargeable LiFePO4 17340/CR123A 3.0V 350mAh Battery
- Life cycle: 2000 times (Traditional Li-ion: 500 times)
- Never explode or catch fire
- 100% Compatible with Disposable 17340/CR123A Batteries
- Working Voltage:3.2V and Peak Voltage: 3.6V
- Charging cut-off voltage: 3.6V
- Discharge cut-off voltage: 2.2V
- Please never overdischarge battery below 2.2V/cell
- You can safely charge these using the wf-138 set to the 3.0V mode
- Do not charge these with any lithium chargers for regular 3.6V batteries as they can have up to 4.2V charging voltage!
- Capacity: 350 mAh

and I also got the recommended charger. I was going to get the wf-139, they don't recommend that with the 3.0v batteries.

I figure it was only 4.50, worse ill have to get some other ones later.

AW is a member here that sells various types of cells in the Marketplace.

Hopefully those cells will fit your light, as they are a bit longer and wider than primary cells.

With those cells, your runtime with the M60L will be around 1 hour or slightly less.

Do you have a caliper set? If so, just measure the inner diameter of the body tube of the Cabela light.

If it's 17mm (16.92mm according to the picture on DX) then the battery will at least fit in the body tube.

LiFePO4 cells are always lower capacity cells, but they are a safe chemistry.

Another option to consider in the future (depending on the inner diamter of the body tube) might be protected 17670 cells, which are the length of 2 CR123 Primary cells and around 1800 mAh capacity.

no caliper, I will just let the batteries come and if anything give them away to someone that could use them. I will look into those 17670 cells.

AW brand ones, whether from AW himself, 4Sevens, or Lighthound.

They cost more than what you see at DX or KD, but they are quality cells.
You would need a different charger though, as these cells won't fit in the WF-138 charger you bought for the LiFePO4 cells.
