CR123a\'s

Does anybody know what the best brand of cheap CR123a's is? By cheap i mean from around 75cents to $1.50 for one battery. And are their any rechargeable cr123a's? Thx

Re: CR123a\'s

Well, I'll put on my flameproof suit and say that I have had several Surefire 123's fail on me after 10 - 15 minutes usage. I have had good results so far with Yuntong sold by ARC (5 for $5). No DOA, no dead in 10 minutes. I've used them in an ARC LS, E2e/KL1, E2e incan., Streamlight TL2 LED. Before that I had a batch of Tekcell, they performed well too.

I have had good performance from the Sanyo's that were purchased from Bot@ch for $1.25 each.

Rob - glad to hear that the Yuntongs work well for you. I just picked up six 5-packs of them. Excellent deal, considering Fedex shipping was free.

Geode- are botach gettingg better now? A few months back I heard a lot of bad talk about them. Not sure if we can still buy from them without any concern...

Re: CR123a\'s

Botach is sort of iffy. Most orders go through ok, some end up with hassles.

Arc now asks folks to order no more than 3 packs of the Yuntongs. Batterystation is still selling DP's with no quantity limit though. Arc has to be losing its shirt shipping 3 packs of batteries by fedex for free. I think they make around 5 cents on each battery.
