cree c6 assistance

Hey guys, Im new here. I made this post in another area before i realised it was the buy sell trade area..

Anyway.

Is there a tactile switch available for the cree c6 kit I got at DX

What do you mean by tactical switch? Are you looking for the remote tape switch for mounting to a gun?

I don't know of any replacement tailcaps for this setup.

I mean momentary. Push the button for on, and release the button for off.

I don't know what a forward clicky is but does it work like a momentary?

I have mine setup with a Kaidomain momentary switch....

I dissasembled the tailcap, desoldered the small white switch and soldered a Kaidomain forward click switch

BUT it is a very tight fit, cos the baord is too small....you got to chamfer the edges of the KD switchs quare body and use some plastic leaf around it to avoid contact of the leads to the tailcap body....

I do not have pics of this mod but the link in my signature will show the general priciple of this mod...

say there is another way...

the Ultrafire 501 tailcap works with the Aurora C6/V6...get yourself a 501 tape switch, and a Fenix or Jetbeam forward click module (switch+PCB board+spring)

Lighthound and Bugout gear may have them
