Just a head's up for all of us sending stuff this holiday season...especially for those that frequent the B/S/T forums a lot:

NYC Mailman accused of filching cards


Agents stopped Olivio and found their decoy in his car, along with about 137 other cards and other letters, Dolloff said in a sworn statement. He said Olivio later told agents he had been filching greeting cards from his mail bag since February, recently taking as many about 35 per day.

I feel lucky to know that the postman thats in charge for my subdivision has always been a nice old lady for as far as I can remember:nana:

This is old news i've seen surveillance footage of mail sorters taking the mail during holiday for cash.

I just lost a package that had a bunch of flashlights meant for my relatives for the holiday. Tracking said delivered but my relative said otherwise. Grrr.

Am in the process of claiming the insured package. (it was insured for $100)
